Colormap Selection

Use matplotlib colormaps to create beautiful sonar images.

Overview

PINGMapper uses Matplotlib colormap to color sonar image exports. If the colormap needs to be reversed, append _r to the colormap name.

Example of recommended colormaps. First row are highly recommended.
